Pizza Hut

Hello, everyone! :) Last night, my family and I treated ourselves to Pizza Hut…
Annoyingly, our order took over an hour to arrive! I may be incorrect on this matter but doesn’t Pizza Hut aim to deliver within 30 minutes? I’m not an unreasonable person; if they didn’t present us with a cold pizza, I could have forgave the long wait. :/​
Furthermore, the rest of the order was of poor quality too, e.g. the wedges was considerably undercooked. Also, the wrong dip was included with it, i.e. garlic instead of BBQ. I realise that this sounds like a minor issue but it is not. Why? I, a vegan, intended to eat the wedges myself but the garlic dip contains animal products; naturally, this immensely disgusted me! :@ If they’re not going to follow through, why give customers the option to choose what they want? Wouldn’t you agree?
However, I would like to credit Pizza Hut for allowing me to have a no-​cheese pizza; they followed through with it! Kudos! :)
Ultimately, I recommend everyone take their business elsewhere. You’re probably thinking I’m being a tad too harsh but I disagree. This is not the first appalling experience my family and I have had with Pizza Hut’s Cwmbran store.

Okay, yes, I know it’s a pizza chain and I shouldn’t have ever expected anything amazing. But as someone who absolutely loves the food at Domino’s, I do understand that sometimes chains can still really deliver the goods.
I’m not going to give this place 1 star since it wasn’t anything god awful, but I probably wouldn’t order from here again — especially not since I have my beloved Domino’s just in the same vicinity.

~ This review is based on delivery ONLY. Although I’ve walked past this location many times (it’s just by Morrison’s), I’ve never eaten at the establishment so I haven’t a clue what the customer service is like.
~ Do not. I repeat… DO NOT make the newbie mistake of ordering without vouchers. ALWAYS search online for vouchers. You could be saving roundabout 40% off the standard fare.
Food:
I customised a pizza with red onions and meatballs as my toppings. One thing interesting about Pizza Hut is that I have to give them credit for having loads of options on how you want your crusts. You can even turn your crusts into BURGERS! What the actual fuck. Don’t believe me? Look it up. I also decided to go a bit gluttonous and opted for the cookie dough with ice cream dessert. I’m also a lover of hot wings, so I decided to try those as well.
Started my meal off with trying the hot wings, which I normally can’t get enough of when I order them at other restaurants. Pizza Hut’s hot wings were probably closer to 1 star quality. Too much fried batter and was absolutely tasteless. There were tiny specks of sauce on it, much less than what I was expecting. For a side that was supposed to give a bit of a kick, how BLAND!
I decided to try the pizza out and the cheese was that gross stale-​pizza cheese that has hardened because it was probably left out somewhere for far too long. The crust had a slight cardboardy texture and I can’t help but wonder how fresh my pizza was because it had gone a bit cold.
The cookie dough obviously saved the day though.

Overall, it wasn’t inedible and it came at a cheap price. However, everything had a touch of that «staleness» to it that made it really unappetising. Like I said, I probably wouldn’t be a customer again unless Pizza Hut stepped up their game. It’s a shame because menu wise, I much prefer their options over Domino’s. But in terms of the quality, I give 2 thumbs down.
