Family run concern with nice staff and always kept clean and well merchandised. The shop is very narrow and you can encounter a neighbour or two in one of the three isles. Open long hours so a definite plus if you feel a chocolate munch coming on in the evening. Sell everything from wine to selotape, not forgetting the post office tucked away at the back, where the staff are helpful. As well known as Waitrose.
