Very
disappointed at attitude of new proprieters!
In January I attended a Help for Heroes charity night and was thrilled to win a
£20 voucher to use at this restaurant. The voucher, it appears, had been
donated to the event by the previous owner of the restaurant, who was clearly
more charity minded than the current one.
Bearing in mind that £20 won’t go far towards a meal for 2, I would have
expected to spend considerably more, and possibly have returned, whereby they
would clearly have profited.
However, when I tried to book a table to use this voucher, I was told they will
not honor it!
I appreciate that the restaurant has changed hands, but this does nothing for
their reputation and I certainly wouldn’t reccommend it to anyone simply due to
their attitude.
If it had been possible to put zero stars I would have done so.
