This is a rather standard pub, rather cheap prices for reasonable food! spacy seating area, also with outside seating in summer which is great! I think it’s a great place in terms of value-for-money! and rather cosy as well! good for groups!

I quite like this pub I have to say, it’s perfect for Sunday lunch. you can sit outside or inside, tables are fine, looks decent. prices are ok, it’s part of the Sizzling chain. Service is good, never had problems with them. The food is standard pub food, probably out of the freezer(as in 80% of cases), but tastes fine I have to say! You can get a meal with a drink for under £10! ok, with a starter maybe slightly over, but then you are nicely filled as well!

Once you get past the initial looks of interest from the locals you find you are in a massive pub where you can sit and have an undisturbed pint with a friend. It’s also quite cheap and as such picks up a bit of local trade from Warwick Uni which is on it’s doorstep(this is a positive point in case you were wondering)

So this is the pub we had to settle for after Varsity’s service failure. It was a nice big pub with plenty of space for us, but unfortunately the staff were curt when serving us. I guess they weren’t so thrilled at the prospect of 20 orders flowing in simultaneously, understandable, but at least feign some pleasure in receiving loads of money for the place. We ate and drank heavily for crying out loud.

I went for a lunch with my work colleagues here, and was very pleasantly surprised at the food. It’s nothing out of the ordinary, but has an extensive menu where you’re bound to find something you like. Staff are chatty and will try to make sure you’re happy with your meal. Get a lot of food for not too much money, and although the pub looks slightly old fashioned, it’s clean and welcoming.

The Phantom Coach offers cheap Food and alchool is a friendly enough environment. Food is very reasonable for the price and i think you will be pleasently suprised with what you get. Staff arent really that helpful and it can become busy on sundays, therefore seating can be a problem. Waiting times for meals can be a pain but the food is good, nothing amazing but good. Overall it is a very good place to go out for a cheap meal or a cheap pint. Would recommend for this not for going out somewhere fancy.
