Friendly staff, good atmosphere and ok food.
Been several times now and never had a bad meal or bad service. They operate a green card scheme for reduced prices on certain drinks when sporting events are on.
Food area is normally nice and clean and food has always been relatively quick.
Only bad thing is the gents toilets.
Definitely worth a visit!

Very cheap food and drink. Don’t expect service to die for but it’s functional and has served me well as my local for a few years now. Pub is big enough to talk to the locals or mind your own business

Since the Newlands has been re-​vamped it is a much nicer, cleaner environment. The food is traditional pub style, good and cheap. Can see the same faces during some evenings, however it is a friendly place.
Has a very large garden and is a nice pub all round
