TGI Fridays

I visited recently for a work meal the menu as a lot of different choices of foods however on this occasion the food wasn’t up to scratch the skins were small and not that enjoyable & the burger was £11 but didn’t match the price much flavour at all & the Jd sauce was close to water consistence than ketchup, would try again but not for a while, as when chef is on form food is lovley, would try other places instead cocktails r awsome thou,

Chains. I always talk about them. Love them or hate them, they are here and here to stay.
They are both good things and bad things. If you walk into a good chain anywhere around the world and they serve you food that you had thought of before setting foot on the premises at a reasonable price with service that makes you smile — what’s wrong with a chain? On the other hand, I hate to see chain stores and restaurants, replacing one of a kind unique places. So where does TGI Fridays fall on the spectrum?
Will with this branch in particular, I had an absolutely wonderful night here! The cocktails were big and the cheap here, just like I like my… oh never mind.
Even though we were a rather rambunctious group, the staff took us with good humour and even got excitable with us at some points. They took some mild teasing and battered it straight back at us, creating a welcoming good vibe, which can be sometimes hard to do with a larger table of people.
The food I had here was not exactly cordon bleu. Nor was it innovative. But did I enjoy it and find it good value for money? Most definitely. I did.
And that’s really what matters doesn’t it? If you had a great night in a place and felt that it was reasonable value for money — what is not to like about that?

Waren von der Firma eingeladen und da es kein TGI FRIDAYS in Deutschland gibt, hatte ich mich sehr auf diesen Besuch gefreut. Wir mussten allerdings recht lange warten da es sehr voll war und eine Reservierung nicht möglich war.
Das Essen ist immer wieder gut, vor allem die Burger mit der Jack Daniels Sauce kann ich jedem nur empfehlen. Die Bedienung waren alle sehr nett und aufmerksam.
Kann das TGI FRIDAYS nur jedem empfehlen der auf Burger und Steaks steht mit der passenden amerikanischen Ambiente.

I went to TGI’s for my mother’s 50^th birthday, and walking in the door at 7:10pm I could see it was busy so I was prepared to wait, as were the other 10 people in my party. I was duely handed a ‘beeper’ that I was told would go off when a table was available for us, and was then told that they would aim to have a table ready by 8:30. Off to the bar we all went, and the cocktails are fab, but even they get tiresome when you end up watching groups who arrive after you sit, eat and leave and then have to chase staff every 15 minutes after the estimate you’re given to begin with to ask when a table is going to be available.
We were finally sat down by some very exasperated looking staff, after they had kicked the previous diners of it unceremoniously, at 9:30 and left with no menus for 20 minutes, despite numerous staff wandering aimlessly past with armfuls of them. The food was lovely (once we were allowed to order), but the candles etc I had bought for the cake mistereously disappeared when mum’s cake was bought out. I enquired about this and was told that they had slipped between the racking in the kitchen and no one had the presence of mind to check. Considering we spent over £300 between us, not including drinks, I really didn’t find it acceptable.
I was contacted by the manager (Emma) the following day after writting a complaint online and was offered some vouchers as compensation. A month on these have yet to materialise.
The place is a lot of fun, but I’d advise to book as far in advance as you can to avoid stress and make sure you try the cocktails they really are fab. Just don’t rely on everything the staff say if its busy, because you’ll only set yourself up to be disappointed.

I love TGI Fridays, the menu is excellent, the food is excellent and the service is always excellent.
I usually have the Ribs or one of the Burgers. The starters and cocktails are great, and TGI’s menu always offers huge variety at a reasonable price.
Parking can be a bit tight, particularly on Thurs-​Sat evenings.

Why oh why does this restaurant (and others) fully appreciate that there are childless couples who would like some peace & quiet during their meal.
We enjoy the food and on this occasion was seated between two families with young children (because the other sections aren’t open yet) these kids were allowed to scream, shout, yell, cry & run around the restaurant, my mother would have kindly taken me to one side and told me to behave.
So take it from us, if you want a quiet meal don’t come here during the day, best make it a late sitting unless they change their seating policy.

It’s expensive food but not the best quality but it’s great as a group. Nice atmosphere and staff really do try to keep the show running. Always worth a go. You will love or hate

TGI’s is a chain of restaurants with an american theme. They are all dressed up and the service and staff are very good. The menu is very wide at pretty reasonable prices.
SGI’s has a great atmosphere and they serve cocktails so you go for the atmosphere and the whole night not just the meal.

TGI Friday is a greay place to go to for a fun, family meal. The staff do make you feel really welcome and have some friendly banter with the kids whuch they love.
The menu choice is pretty good but a bit pricey for what is essentially burger and chips so it’s worth signing up to their website to receive any special offers they may have. The last time we went here the food was well below the expected standard and that is why i have only given 4 stars. Hopefully when we visit again it will be back up to their good standard.
We love the cocktails here and it is great to sit and watch the bar staff do their thing! Also, if you or another family member have a birthday, let the staff know on your arrival or when booking your table and the staff will sing to you and make you feel very special!
Fingers crossed TGI’s gets back to their normal good standards soon.

Thnak god its friday, really seems to be a hit with everyone.
A pleasant place to go and have a bit of a laugh, drink and eat.
You usually get great service from a friendly waiter/​ress who actually want to be doing their job properly.
The menus are massive with loads of choice to pick from.
They do do offers on some of the meals such as two courses for £10 for example. This is really good value for money.
They have a massive bar which serves up the most imaginative cocktails going.
Its a really good evening/​meal out.

I love TGI’s!
The menu has a large variety, something for everybody. The prices may not be the cheapest but you do get a lot for your money. I think I am yet to finish everything off! There are pasta dishes, wraps and there Jack Daniel sauce with certain dishes is a speciality.
It is a great place to go out for a meal with family or a group of friends and have some drinks. There cocktail here are like no where else. I have to say my favourite drink which i recommend would be the orea milkshake — amazing!
