So this place is a fairly new kid on the block having only been open for a few months. It is a hotel, restaurant and bar rolled into one. It’s décor is modern and the space is split up nicely inside. There is a bar area with tables and chairs and comfy sofas, and when you are at the bar you can see through the other side into the dining room area complete with carvery station. I would advise booking as it looked busy. The bar area wasn’t too busy for a Sunday and as a result we managed to bag a table. The pudding menu is brill with awesome traditional options to choose from — strawberry cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding, Apple pie, chocolate brownie, Eton mess all served with either ice cream, cream or custard. I choose the sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce which was pretty darn good, and my friend choose the apple pie and custard. The only downside was that the apple pie arrived on a plate so not ideal for pouring custard and the pie could have been hotter. Other than that the bar area is great, we stayed a couple of hours and could have stayed longer. The puddings and drinks were quick to arrive too, and the staff were good at clearing the tables. A place where I shall be returning to for a carvery.
