This was a first for me and I caught half the game tonight. The venue is ok… The ladies toilets were locked and the disabled ones were not. very inviting so had to walk to the other side of the arena to the other ones. I suppose they were clean. Crosbys bar is attached and gets very busy but there are hot food and snacks available to purchase in the complex. Good sized arena and it was good to see The Coventry Blaze play in their home town. There is plenty of seating tiered up all around the rink for the supporters. If you like the hussle and bussle of this energetic game its worth a peek.

For ice-skating: a decent place to go, good skates you can rent if you use thick socks, nice athmosphere! For coming to hockey games: good performance of home team, great fun if we score, deliciously matching food for the game, recommend!

The place I spent most of my younger days, hence the ‘blaze’ in my name represents my long term alliance with the best ice hockey team in the UK for the last 7 to 8 years — the Coventry Blaze! To watch a game is a must if you haven’t, it’s a real spectator sport and something the whole family will enjoy as it has a variance from high speed action to the old controlled punch up which always ends up with sportsmanly handshakes that the north americans love to show! The ice rink is a really good quality rink and holds various concerts and events and is near IKEA, odeon cinema and tons of bars and clubs! It is a great location and a great place to go with family and friends to have a skate! Skydome all the wayyyyy.

The only ice rink in and close to coventry. It is a large rink with lots of spectator seat for if you go with people who can’t or dont want to skate. It has great facilities, with boot hiring and lockers to keep your stuff in. There are vending machines dotted around too for snacks. Princing is relatively good. Its not too expensive. They have music playing whilst you skate which is good fun!

The skydome, has a great ice rink used for the Coventry blaze Hockey team. The rink is large and is kept really well. Good to skate here, nice arena! At least we have an ice rink in coventry. They also play music whilst skating which ranges in era and genre too im led to believe. The skates themselves are a bit tatty now but hey thats what you get from constant use i suppose, showing that the rink is bringing the money in. A good arena for skating and the only one soo close to coventry as its in it!

Not just a cinema, this place also holds at least 2 nightclubs, a restuarant, some bars and an ice rink. The clubs are quite big and lairy, as are the bars, but if that’s your kind of night out, this is your place. A large amount of parking available, which is free if you use the cinema, and the Coventry ice hockey games are held at the ice rink here.

This is the only ice rink in coventry, apart from the temporary one in winter time. It is where coventry blaze, the elite league winning ice hockey team play and is also open to the public most days and times for recreational skating or lessons. Lessons are avaliable in groups or 1 to 1 and on weekends especially, events like disco’s are on. There is a small café for food and drink and vending machines too.
