Good place for a drink, plenty of choice to drink and a very good menu as well, the food is about standard for a bar menu. The price is good with plenty of options if you like snacks or grazing food and many deserts too

Good pub, cheap food! Big screen for football, but the owner isn’t a fan of singing during england games, at least the world cup only happens every 4 yrs, go cedars if you want a great atmosphere for the football! If you want good food family pub, head for the Shepard!

The Old Shepard is an out of town pub. It is situated about 4 miles from the city centre in the Radford/​Keresley area of Coventry.
It is quite a big pub. They have regular quizzes in there and some times have other special nights.
They do a food menu which pretty standard pub type food. From Steak and chips to jacket potatoes and roast dinner on a sunday. All the food is pretty good value but is at the more basic end end of the pub food range.
There is a beer garden with a play area for the kids so this does make it a nice family pub. They do a large selection of beers and other drinks. The staff are always pleasant and its has a pleasant atmosphere.
