Old Mill Hotel At Baginton

Nice room. Nice bathroom. As in most hotels/​restaurants in GB, the staff is very friendly. Nice relaxing patio. Beautiful old manor. Attached restaurant/​bar is very unique with delicious food. Incredible patio seating if you don’t mind the occasional gnats from the stream. Reasonably priced. Only 10 mins from the Motorway and 90 mins from London. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to a friend if ever in the area.

Visited with 2 others. Food was OK (not great, but definitely OK … Good portion size).
Service was friendly and helpful, but there was quite a wait even thought it wasn’t that busy. I was advised to book (which I did) but didn’t need to as it wasn’t as busy as expected (5pm on Saturday, so probably too early to be too busy)
Will visit again, so overall was satisfied with the experience

Die Alte Mühle hat alles was man brauch: Nettes Personal, schöné und gute Zimmer und ein Spitzen Restaurant.
Location: Liegt etwas abseits, aber sehr ruhig und idyllisch. Liegt direkt am Fluss wlechen man von der hinteren Terrasse aus betrachten kann.
Hotel, Ausstattung: Das Hotel ist nicht modern, aber besitzt einen sehr netten Charme. Man fühlt sich sofort wohl und kann schnell entspannen. Zum Hotel gehört noch eine Bar und ein Restaurant welche beide sehr zu empfehlen sind. Das Hotel ist mit WLAN ausgestattet und hat Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür.
Zimmer: Schön eingerichtet und großzügig geschnitten. Fernseher, Wasserkocher, Tee– und Kaffeebeutel sind vorhanden. Nur ein Kühlschrank fehlt, den habe ich vermisst. Badezimmer ist recht einfach, die Dusche ausreichend. Nur die Armatur ist etwas umständlich zu bedienen.
Restaurant: Das Beste am Hotel! Etwas gehobener von den Preisen her, aber sehr sehr lecker. Die Vielfalt und Kreativität der Gerichte ist super, da ist man gerne experimentierfreudig.
Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert für kurze Aufenthalte, hier fühlt man sich gut aufgehoben.

Stayed here overnight on a business trip.
Great room and great service and great value, it’s amazing what you get for your money outside of London :). The bar had a great selection of beer and wine and an interesting menu.
I will stay here again when I am in the area, business or pleasure.

This place is great. The staff was very friendly, well versed in the English language and easy on the eye.
The room itself is nice and big, plenty of room to put your suitcase. The room is stocked with a little kettle and coffee/​tea and a small packet of lovely biscuits.
There’s also a nice sized desk with chair, a comfy sofa chair, a wardrobe, two bedside drawers, a chest of drawers, an average sized TV and a of course the bed.
The bed is the most important thing in a hotel room and this is one of the best I’ve stayed in (and I’ve stayed in a lot). It’s the perfect size, nice and soft and comes with 4 pillows which is perfect. The Bed is positioned perfectly to see the TV though the TV is a bit far away for my liking and can make seeing intricate detail difficult.
The room itself comes with free Wi-​Fi and surprisingly there’s a pretty decent connection and it’s easy to set up and start running.
The bathroom is a nice size, the bath itself is a tad small for someone of my stature and the fixed shower head is annoying but an annoyance I can live with. The only problem I found is that the mirror is too far away from the sink to be able to properly shave.
The restaurant at the hotel is absolutely devine. The food is top quality, the service is very friendly and the prices are bang on. The place can get a little busy and cause longish waits (I had about 45 minutes for mains) but the setting is lovely enough that this can be over looked.
In all a good experience and I shall be here again sometime soon.
