Lime Tree Park & District Working Men’s Club

Disgraceful that it describes itself as a «working man’s club» in Coventry (a multi-​cultural ‘city of peace”)!
This club presented a Nazi hate gig this week (January 2015). Fascist groups had gathered for a so-​called ‘Unstoppable Hate music festival’. The club refused to cancel the gig despite being made aware that the bands were linked to hardcore Nazi terror groups with a violent racist agenda.
Protesters in Coventry demonstrated to show they represent the peaceful majority in the city and that music is for unity and fun, not for hate and racism. Coventry TUC, Coventry UAF, Love Music Hate Racism, trade unions, peace groups and students were among those represented. If you are a normal, peaceable, non-​racist person then avoid this club like the plague and tell your friends to do the same!

Would be ok if they welcomed new people.

It’s a bit of a local place so it’s not really the kind of place you’d just drop in if passing by.
Bingo, bowls, pool and snooker. All the usual stuff, and all a little past its best before date, sadly.
