Anyone fancies a quiet park bench in the city centre to have a rest from a long day shopping go to Lady Herbert Gardens.
Not so sure if there is lighting available at night but during the day this is a lovely little park in the city centre just behind the British Transport Museum, near Pool Meadow.
There are lovely flowers, nice fresh air, entrance is free. If you walk towards Foleshill Road you can view one of the last City Gates (City Wall) of Coventry by Cook Street.
This is a quiet area so please no loud music I guess. There are some historic residential dwellings in this park, thanks so much for showing respect.
In today’s world everything seems to be governed by time — here you can sit and forget time. Enjoy
