Envoy Logistics UK

We want to warn the customers for a transport and
removal company. Although this company is not a member of the British
Assocation of Removers we hope this message will reach those who are looking
for a removal company. It concerns Envoy Logistics Ltd, company number
7 266 315 (since September 2012 also Envoy Removals Ltd, company number
8 211 284). Director is David Crosbie. End of May we have contacted this company via
to remove our goods from Ireland to France, because of the
competitive price, although not the cheapest. Removal date 12/​10/​2012. We asked
for a van/​trailer for 2000 kg/​18m3. that was no problem. We had to pay
immediately. The remover should be at our house at 12.30PM. Finally at 20.00PM
he was there. He told us that his co-​driver got ill and had to be taken to the
hospital because of kidney stones. The driver told us the trailer could carry
just to 1200 kg. Our grand piano could not be taken with! But he assured us
that another van will arrive next morning between 06.30 07.30AM with two
drivers to collect the grand piano and some other goods. At midnight he left.
The next morning at 10.00 AM there was not a van yet. We had to catch the
ferry, so we left, while the landlord staid at the house to wait for the
drivers. We have tried to reach the company and the driver, but that was
impossible. At 11.10 AM the driver cold us, and he promised to contact his
colleagues. Some minutes later he told us that the second van was broken and
could not come that day. Although the driver should had been on the same ferry,
we have not seen him. The next days we have tried to reach the office and the
director, David Crosbie. Impossible! Next Monday the goods in the first trailer
had been delivered. The driver promised us to contact the office about the
grand piano. Finally we had contact with the office via email. Each time they
promised us to collect the piano, each time there was a delay, while our son
was waiting for his piano, which he needed urgently for his study at the
conservatory in Paris. Meanwhile we have found out that the driver is David

Despite a lot of promises the piano and other goods
were not collected and delivered at the end of October. We have contacted a
Removal company in Ireland (Careline) to collect. Also we contacted Envoy and
asked a refund of 500 EUR. They promised to refund this amount. They did not! On the website of Envoy logistics it looks like it’s a
big company, but in reality there a two employees, David Crosbie (driver + Director)
ans Sara Stafford (secretary). There is just one van. It’s a dishonest
company! The day he arrived the first time he already knew there would not
be a second van, leaving us desperately. Is there a possibility this company can be
stopped?
He does not deserve a star!!!

Nice enough to deal with (actually, no. forget that bit, they wasn’t, the ‘secretary’ Sara (- — they try to make the outfit sound big and professional, but it’s only three or four of them) was quite unprofessional and rude (albeit unintentionally and I did get an apology when I picked up on it) & as a transport provider, their standards are diabolical and downright laughable. I trusted them with a fairly simple removal from A to B (It’s what they do apparently???) and it not only did it go wrong. it went totally wrong and just went from bad to worse. Delays, damages and excuses no end. If you want anything delivering with care and for it to arrive on time (and be collected on time for that matter) and in one piece CERTAINLY DON’T use Evnoy. They are COWBOYS, and certainly shouldn’t be in logistics and removals. Oh I could go on and on but please use your common sense and go elsewhere!!! Like the other review above states. excuses excuses.
They only get two stars as at the end of the day, 95% of MY CUSTOMERS belongings was EVENTUALLY picked up and EVENTUALLY delivered in one piece.
It’s not rocket science [Removals] I’ve been in the ‘game’ around 15 years, but really think Envoy need to change their careers. Maybe Lawn cutting would be a tad easier to grasp!
