Has a vast array of stalls. I mainly go there for fruit and veg. They have a much better range than supermarkets, are always fresher and you get ten times more! There’s always a nice feeling that you are supporting the local economy too rather than supermarket giants. A lot of the stalls do bowls of fruit or veg for £1 — shop around, some are better quality than others. They have a great little tailors, very precise, excellent job and took my trousers up for a fiver. Looked like they were made that way. Some of the stalls are tat, but some definitely worth a visit too. I always get totally lost though — whoever decided to make it round!

Coventry Market is great. One of the best in the area, and has won awards. It recently celebrated it’s 50th birthday which they commemerated and made a day of. The market sells all sorts of foods from fruit and veg to sweets and meats. There are clothes stalls and everything you can think of like fishing tackle shop, home brew shop, bric a brac, wool, bike shop, tatoo parlour, nail place and all sorts. I go in there everyweek for my fruit and veg and all the people in there are very friendly

From Sweets to Veg, From handbags to key cutting, this market has it all. (That sounded chessy didnt it) I have been using Coventry Market since i was a little boy and have always found it a useful place to shop. They have many useful things as well as a café inside which in all honesty is. Ill leave it at that. The market offers a wide range of stalls and you can always pick up some good bargins. I would recommend taking a look in there for some odds and ends that you might need. Only problem with it is that its old.
