Costco Coventry

Oh, Costco! How I adore thee!
I didn’t realize just how much I missed the simple things in American life, like certain supermarkets, until I visited Costco. But Costco Coventry definitely had a different vibe, too. For starters, every Costco I’ve been to in the States is generally packed! As in «well, I better park my car in the absolute friggen back because I’m tired of waiting» packed. We could park right up front at Costco Coventry. Nice, nice.
The layout is exactly the same. Electronics up front, food court on the side entrance. Oh, the food court! You can’t beat the £1.50 hot dog and drink! It’s a bit more expensive than in the States ($ 1.50) but the quality is there. Delicious! And I was happy to see different things on the food court menu, different British foods.
My problem is exactly the same with every Costco — don’t buy everything! The fruit/​veggie/​fish selection is top quality. We went in with a list and pretty much stuck to it.
The queues were quick and easy. Costco only accepts AMEX and debt cards, so don’t bother bringing visa or mastercard. It is really, really easy to spend loads of money here! But the quality is fantastic and you can’t beat some of the wholesale deals!
