Brandon Hall Hotel

Had my wedding booked here but called it off 6 weeks before the day… Anyhow was nothing to do with the venue!
For a stately home, this was definitely the most reasonably priced of all the ones in the vicinity. You get 10% off for a weekday booking too. £3500 (excluding cost of wedding) covered a wedding breakfast for 50, room hire, evening reception for 130 including DJ, who also allowed us to choose our own music.
Went for the menu tasting meal and was very impressed with the quality of the food.
The events co-​ordinator was very helpful and easy to get hold of.
The rooms are spacious and ornate, and it is set in lovely grounds. They also do a special spa package for your hen night, although I chose to go abroad.
The toilets are awesome! Huge, and very clean. Very good value for money for a wedding reception.
