A quaint, old-​world village pub, complete with low, beamed ceilings, ‘Blackies’ serves wholesome, hearty old favourites. Of the homemade main courses the Steak and Ale (Steak and Kidney, if it’s on the specials board!) was the best I’ve ever tasted — and I like my pies!
