It was my uncle’s idea to spend the New Year here at Lucknam Park. The hotel and the grounds are beautiful. But I would not recommended coming here around this time of year. The package was £1000 per day, with food and celebration included. However, the restaurant was not up to its usual parr during this time. The food wasn’t as good as the normal night. The service for breakfast is very slow, also very prone to errors. I ordered haddock hash with a side of sausage and baked beans but I didn’t get what I ordered. Then I had to wait almost 30 minutes to get an order of haddock with no sides. Staff are very nice. But getting your breakfast order wrong and having to wait twice the time is a little upsetting for what we are paying!
Love the equestrian centre. Riding was fun and the staff was very nice.
Would recommend to come any other time of the year except the holiday. Could have spent the money getting my family something else.

OMG! Had a brilliant birthday treat here, a spa day … awesome location, fantastic facilities, welcoming staff and excellent food. Looking forward to going back again soon!
