Poor food. Poor décor. Terrible staff

Ah, you just can’t beat a good old fry up when you’re hung-​over (especially when it’s done proper Ulster Fry style!) so you can imagine how great it was having such a good quality café right on the doorstep of your university. I spent many a day here recovering the day after the night before in the confines of this lovely café. Their fry ups really are out of this world, I kid you not. They serve up a pretty mean milkshake too. Mmm I’m craving one just thinking about it. It doesn’t cost a fortune either which is always a bonus if you’re on a student budget. Thankfully, if you’re not the greasy fry up type of person (or you can’t handle it just yet!) then there’s a whole other range of delicious dishes for you to choose from; including newly made sumptuous sandwiches, orgasmic omelettes, beautiful burgers, gorgeous gammon and other flippin’ lovely fresh, local produce. This family run, traditional café is excellent, although admittedly it doesn’t look up to much from the outside. In my opinion it totally lives up to its name, but will it be your ‘Big O’??

When first eating here I was completely shocked at how good the food was. I expected it to be horrible simply because I judged it on the décor and the friendliness of staff which is extremely poor. Food is excellantly priced and always tastes good. Another bad point though is that the toilets are upstairs which is unsuitable for prams and wheelchairs.
