A great shop with just about everything sold here. Decent quality goods at really good prices. Never normally a long queue at the tills and staff are always very helpful. Nearly always pass through this shop when going into town as there is always something needed from there.

Wilkinsons is certainly a shop for just about anything and everything! An excellent choice when thinking about shopping on a budget — but get it hen you see it otherwise it might not be there next time!
Perfect at his time of year if you are looking for a few decorations to put up and a few cards to send to friends and family.
Sometimes in my experience, and in my opinion, i have found the reason for the cheaper priceis definately a sub standard product. However, i must also stress that i have had an even greater number of good quality bargains over the years.
Certainly at least worth a look and consideration before commiting to a purchase from another shop for something similar!!!

sells almost everything you could need if you knew the appocalypse was coming. i made this years halloween costume for about 10£ with random items from this place. you can get all sorts of hardware, furniture, cleaning things from here. they also have a handy food section with all the essentials. beware for people pushing into the queues because there is an unusual layout for the tills and there will sometimes be an empty till that calls out that it has been opened and there is a following all mighty rush. great place. cheap as chips.

Wilkinsons is a fantastic shop to go rummaging in. They seem to stock everything from toiletries to paint to garden products to lampshades. The prices are very good as well. It’s worht bearing in mind go in the shop last otherwise you’ll have heavy bags to carry round all day!

Wilkinson’s is definitely one of the best budget shops out there, selling everything from christmas decorations to garden furniture to perfume. The pic n mix is good for children (or sweet-​toothed adults) as it is much cheaper than you will get elsewhere. It’s situated in a little complex with a cheap furnishings store and an iceland, so perfect for some budget shopping. My only complaint is that the staff can be quite rude sometimes, but then again I have seen the manager squawking at them on the shop front so I don’t blame them. It can be fairly busy sometimes, so it is best to visit during the daytime.

This store is a must for anyone with a bit of common sense. As I have previously mentioned, Wilkinson provides much the same range of goods as Boot’s but at a much cheaper price. You can also buy food and homewares from the store, making it something of a one-​stop-​shop near the bus stops and car park. The pick and mix is the cheapest in Colchester, as far as I am aware, and scales are provided, meaning that you can keep an eye on the price before you pay. In all, an excellent all-​round shop in a convenient location five stars.

This is one of my favourite shops! You can buy anything and everything here. There is a fantastic range of Christmas decorations, cards and gifts at the moment. I’m always impressed by how much I can get for my money here and, as long as you’re careful, the products are good quality. There returns policy is fuss-​free, they never quibble a returned item. It’s a cheap way to stock up on Pick and Mix sweets before going to the cinema. Savings all round!
