The Car Monger

I bought a car from these and exactly a week later it developed a fault that has put the car off the road for two days already. I claimed on the warranty (which hadn’t been registered) and was told that ONLY WHEN THEY HAD A REGISTERED POLICY FROM THE DEALER, only half of the repair would be covered. I rang the dealer and he hung up on me. The repairer has highlighted other faults that will need to be dealt with in the VERY near future and are verging on ‘unsafe’. I told the dealer about these and his response was well, they aren’t broken are they! I aint repairing what aint broken. Enough said. Be warned!
Edit: So far, I’ve spent £166 for new coil springs (the main fault) and a further £460 for new brakes all round on top of the £6700 I paid for the car. I’m told by my mechanic that I’ll need new wishbones before the month’s out. I’ve owned it for 2 weeks! No sign of any help from the so-​called warranty.
My solicitor is now on the case. BE WARNED PEOPLE You’d better have deep pockets if you want to buy a car from these people!
