Although I am not a huge fan of comics and the characters involved, I am constantly amazed by Ace in Colchester. The store stocks a massive array of goods, from trading cards and comic books to clothing and toys. Staff are all knowledgeable from what I have overheard and experienced personally. I often visit Ace simply to look around, as even if you do not plan on making a purchase, the store is an essential visit to make within the town centre. Therefore, even though I have no particular interest in comics or animé, I am giving Ace of Colchester four out of five stars. Awesome.

If you’re looking for your favourite superhero then this is the place to visit. It’s recently moved to a quieter end of town, but if you’re into comics then you’ll be happy to make the extra effort to find it. The staff are all experts on the products, which is very helpful and we were once offered a discount on a graphic novel after a lengthy chat with the man behind the counter! Very friendly service and feels much more like an independent retailer. A pleasure to shop here.
