Not fantastic for atmosphere, but the food is relatively decent and inexpensive… like the drinks. Despite being a chain, I can’t complain. They have some good specials every now and then. It can get a little packed on your typical Saturday night, but is good for a meeting with some pals for a quiet drink.

Usual run of the mill JD Wetherspoons, it has a decent selection of ales on tap but it’s always busy at the weekend and there is always trouble with beer filled loons starting on each other. The food isnt up to much either just the same old frozen and microwave stuff. It’s good location means it’s good for getting a decent pint on the main street.
