I first went to Jon & Co because i had heard it was THE place to go for a great haircut? YES!, but what i got was a «NEW EXPERIENCE»
As someone who had long straight hair for most of her life i had recently had some close encounters, one of which saw me sporting a Maryilyn Monroe. It was astounding, but not in a good way. When I entered Jon & Co’s friendly premises at the top of Kilbowie Road at the junction with Drumry Road I imediately felt at home. Their hospitaly and friendly chatter leaves you open and at ease enabling their expert stylists to see the real you and fit the hairstyle to your personality. Sneaky, but nice. Their prices are very competitive, and you always leave on a high.

Jon and Co brings a salon of city centre quality to Clydebank. I have been a customer since I realised my natural hair colour of mousy brown was completely rubbish and I could not continue to live my life that way. In fact, bar an 18 month period travelling the world when I was forced to use the nearest, cheapest, hairdresser I could find (the red bob was probably the lowest point. All photographs have been destroyed) I haven’t had my hair styled anywhere else for the past ten years. This is because finding a good hairdresser is like finding the Holy Grail, i.e. hard.
I choose John as a hairdresser because I trust him and he is confident enough to suggest his own ideas of what may suit me. He also exudes warmth and is always up for chatting about anything and everything, sometimes bringing other customers into the conversation which results in a friendly, easygoing atmosphere. I have also had my hair put up for special occasions by Margaret and Michelle, both did a beautiful job. Be prepared to wait however, as the salon is usually busy
