I wouldn’t wear the clothes in Dunnes and, believe me, I would wear pretty much anything. However, I do agree with the previous reviewer about the homewear. There is. some really stylish stuff here. You could pretend it came from Next Directory.

Amidst the hype of Primark and the likes of H&M, Dunnes can be overlooked. I am guilty on occasion of passing the Sauchiehall St branch without a second glance. However, I have recently realised the magic of Dunnes, and this store is very well organised. For some reason it seems a lot better laid out and more open than its Glasgow counterparts, and its lovely window displays lure you in. As Eleanor said, Dunnes is a slightly more upmarket Primark — but arguably cheaper in some cases! I found a fair few bargains in this store today, including a denim shirt for 4 quid! I’ve been looking for a bargain like that in ages and I finally got it. As Maureen said they also house some lovely fuirtniture, which often is reminiscent of Georgian designs. There’s a elegant looking chest of drawers I’ve had my eye on for ages and it’s now going for 60 quid. The prices are pleasing but so is the quality, and this Dunnes is good at displaying its best offers. It was neat and clothes were easy to rake through on the rails. Awesome shopping — I’m chuffed with the jumper and shirt I picked up! Especially when they were both only 12 pounds!

I’ve never really been into Dunnes until recently, when I was shopping with my mum. It’s pretty much just the exact same as Primark, just a little less chaotic and you don’t need to wait an absolute age in the queue when all you want is a pair of socks. They also have some super cute baby clothes here at reasonable prices, I saw the cutest ever hoody for 3 – 6 month olds which had little robots on it, my friend has just had a baby and I really wanted to get it for her but the zip was broken on the only one left. I think next time I need some essentials such as socks, work t-shirts and jammies I’ll be popping to Dunnes instead of braving the drama of Primark.

I really like this shop. Not so much for the clothes but for the classic and very affordable home wear. I spent a few months searching for a photo frame to match the image I had in my head and found it in this place for only £8. However, the clothes are pretty good too. Slightly more expensive, but much better quality, than Primark.
