This is one of those gems hidden away that can easily be missed. Situated in the centre of Chichester but not where you’d expect it. Nestled between residential houses you almost think you’re in the wrong place. For some reason this makes it almost seem so much better as you believe its your little secret. It has its own parking area which is great and a lovely little outdoor courtyard which would be lovely to sit and have a spot of lunch in the summer sun. The restaurant itself is downstairs and has a wonderful authentic spanish feel, warm colours, great atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was stunning and very reasonably priced. It tastes fresh and authentic not like some of the high street chain tapas restaurants. All in all a wonderful place to take a group of friends, eat lots of gorgeous food, drink lots of gorgeous wine and go home very happy. 5 gold stars for this one please!

This little tapas bar is tucked away in a vaulted basement behind some flats. We went on a November evening, so sitting outside wasn’t something I was keen to try! It looked really pretty, though — a raised terrace with wrought iron chairs and tables dotted across it. Downstairs, the restaurant proper was decorated with bull fight posters, fans and paintings of flamenco dancers. The food was good, a decent selection of meat, fish and veg tapas dishes all nicely presented and very tasty. The best part, though, was the service. Both waiters were pleasant, and one in particular reaslised we were first-timers and made the effort to welcome us, find out where we were from etc. All in all, a lovely warm experience with good food at reasonable prices.
