A below par pub/​bar/​bistro in a great location.
The Groves looks directly onto the River Dee and is an ideal spot to enjoy a beer and watch the world go by in the summer.
However, having eaten at The Groves a couple of time, and having sent numerous meals back, I’d have to say that The Groves is not a place I’d rush back to. The potential for The Groves to be a fantastic place to visit is very high, its just a shame that the experience is so far away from what it should be.
