Some of the best Indian food in Cheltenham, although the service can be a little slow. Still, the Balti Goan is worth the wait.

First class Indian specialising in Balti dishes in the heart of Montpellier village. Not a vast menu but everything they do tastes as if it has been prepared from scratch just for you. Great staff and a great atmosphere. If you haven’t tried it since the great flood of 2007, then go and have a look at the new décor. For the price, this has to be one of the best curry houses in Cheltenham.

The past few years I’ve always ordered chicken tikka masala every time I enter an Indian cuisine. Have been disappointed, and would always look for new places to try again. I blame this on Shezean for being one of the first Indian restaurants I’ve been to, for serving the most exceptional chicken tikka masala, ever.
