Empire Salon

This establishment can be found on the busy Broomfield Road. Parking can be found in the Pay and Display behind The Ship pub or Civic Theatre close by. There is no road side parking that I’m aware of.
I would describe the Empire Salon as more of a Barbers than a hairdressers. It attracts a predominately male clientele. At busiest 4 chairs are avaliable, although during quieter time just 2 members of staff have been seen. The staff provide a good standard of haircut and are friendly but don’t force you into a conversation.
There is a comfortable seating area, with plenty of magazines to browse at, a small flat screen television and cool water available.
A basic male haircut costs about £13 which is good value for this busy area of Chelmsford. A range of other services are also avaliable.
