Channels Lodge

We attended a wedding here and stayed the night before and the night after the wedding. While it is expensive (slight understatement, 128 pounds a night), it was for a wedding so whatevs.
The room was lovely and the bathroom was magnificent. Honestly, I think that was what most guests discussed at the wedding. Think big space with a waterfall shower. The wedding venue itself, was lovely, too, incidentally. The breakfast included in the room was also delicious (I had the vegie breakfast with bacon).
One issue we did have was that there was no one at reception — we had to walk across to the restaurant to get checked in. However, it wasn’t an issue and we were checking in well before the other guests, at a slightly odd time, so that was fine.
