Boots The Chemists Chelmsford

This Boots store is based on the Chelmer Village Retail Park. It seems to be very popular. It offers a good selection of all the normal bits and pieces Boots sell — toiletries, perfume, gift sets, medicine and snacks, and a small range of clothing and toys. I was a bit disappointed when this store first opened as I thought they might offer a wider range of toys and childrens bits. I prefer the town boots because of this. The best thing this store offers is easy parking and a late night opening window for the pharmacy (I think open till midnight).

This Boots Chemist is located in a retail park on the edge of Chelmer Village, along Chelmer Village Way. There is often a queue to enter the park but once inside there are usually spaces in the large free car park.
Boots is located along the parade of shops on the right hand side as you enter. I much prefer it to the store in Chelmsford Town Centre as it is newer and seems cleaner and less crowded.
Of course it is smaller so offers a smaller range but the essentials are all supplied. Joining the Advantage Card Scheme is worth it for the money off you can get.
The members of staff are sometimes young but lovely in my experience and so helpful.
Despite it being a chain it seems to offer that personal touch.

This store is locate at chelmer Village retail park so there is the large free car park, but this is getting busy all the time so parking is getting trickier but there are still spaces but you have to walk a bit further.
There is a No. 7 counter that is usually un staffed but no other brand counters unlike the main store in the town. There is then the usual make up brands like Revlon, No 17 and Bourjois. At the back is the pharmacy this is a late hour pharmacy open until 11pm (I think). There is a really small photo section but the printing machine is usually out of order. The staff can be a little useless and slow and the clearance offers are often more expensive than full price.
By the tills there is a small selection of snacks and drinks.

This store is located in the chelmer village retail park so free parking right outside the shop which is always great!
The store is quite large, at the front of the shop you will find the make up and perfumes and at the rear is the pharmacy.
It has 2 advantage card machines which always have great extra deals them to save money and collect extra points!
The shop is always very clean and well stocked up. The staff can be a bit hit and miss some staff are lovely and so helpful while others can be very rude there and unhelpful.

This really is a superb branch of Boots. It is bright and spacious, well organised and beautifully presented. The range of goods is excellent. youan purchase all the usual toiletries and perfumes in addition to pre school toys and gorgeous childrens clothes.
Staff are brilliant. helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the goods on sale and always willing to help and got that ‘extra mile’. The pharmacy staff are esceptionally good and offer excellent help and advise. particularly out of hours when the doctore is shut!
All in all i would have to say that this is probabl the best branch of Boots i have visited!
