Pimlott’s is a family butchers dating all the way back to 1869 — and in my book any business that’s stood that test of time is going to have something about it so as customers keep on coming back. Easily accessible next door to Cheadle Hulme train station and opposite Waitrose(lots of parking here too) means that a visit to somewhere of such quality shouldn’t be any more hassle than going to the supermarket. All the butchers at Pimlott’s are super friendly, knowledgable and offer that friendly personal service. The meat is of excellent quality — we’ve had lamb(made into greek kebabs by us), rib eye steaks and fillet, plus the roast sandwich ham is so good that I’d recommend picking up some every time you visit for the fridge! Life should be about supporting local business and finding the best ingredients out there — that’s why I’ll go to Pimlott’s every time over the supermarkets for meat, despite what the super store adverts might say about them having the best butchers in store.
