Chimichanga

This has to be one of the best restaurants I have eaten in. The food is superb and the atmosphere is very inviting and warm.
The staff are very polite and will bend over backwards for you, however this has its cons…
The reason I gave it 4 stars is that when they get busy, the staff begin to panic and try cover too many tables at one time. When this happened to me, I was sat waiting for the bill for more than 20 minutes.
That said, this restaurant is a must!

From first glance, this restaurant looks like it it a really nice place to eat with great food. Large menu with many options, nice décor, and overall nice ambiance.
We ordered the combo beef and chicken fajitas and the grilled chicken. Upon serving, they looked super delicious. However… As many places in this country unfortunately, the food was absolutely tasteless. I felt like of I closed my eyes, I wouldn’t be able to distinguish one item from the other and so it was an overall meh experience which cost 40 pounds for two plates making it an expensive unpleasant eating experience…

Plenty of seating and plenty of dishes to choose from. I’m no huge fan of Mexican food but was very pleasantly surprised by what was on offer here. The dishes very extremely tasty, full of flavour and well balanced. I really enjoyed trying a few things out here. The bill (between a few of us) was very reasonable and I would say worth the money. BUT The staff here are letting the place down. Believe what you are reading in the other reviews. When asked for your order it is from somebody who is just about tripping over their own face. Cutlery dumped at the end of your table is one thing but I doubt many people going out for a meal (spending money) are hoping to bump into the most miserable looking waiting staff in Chatham. When you are finished you are pretty much moved on ASAP, even if the restaurant is only half-​full. It’s a shame for the staff preparing the food; they do a good job and have this lot dishing it out. Food 4 stars.

I visit for convieniance as it’s close. They have a wide selection of food, which is always cooked well and very tasty. It is also fairly reasonably priced.
The restaurant itself however is spoilt by the constant burning smell from the open kitchen. I guess this is the chargrilled effect but if I wanted to smell burnt food I’d have gone to my brothers for dinner.
The staff are less than helpful, if you ask for a variation on a dish i.e. without the jalepinos please, it is met with confusion and your food with it anyway. They are miserable, and if you don’t want wine olives or bread, it feels like you’ve just insulted them, not to mention if you have not booked a table. And if you do book a table they will spell your name wrong even though you spelt it 5 times.
Overall atmosphere is placid if you don’t have a hen do in the as there pre dinner, which I will add is a good place for big parties the food is very well timed.

Nice Mexican restaraunt with extremely nice food, there is a large selection of mexican dishes available and they arent all spicy, the burgers come in tortillas instead of buns which made a nice change.
The staff however leave a lot to be desired, surly, miserable and rude would be the 3 words to describe them.
When I said I hadnt booked the waitress/​greeter woman tutted and rolled her eyes at me, then when my OHs order was wrong the waitress acted as if it was our fault.
Go there for the food, not the service and you will be happy.
The poor service made me give this a 3 instead of a 4
