I found this tiny library by accident after having drawn a blank with Chesham, Missenden and Amersham .I needed a school book urgently for my son to do a piece of homework. Staffed entirely by volunteers this tiny library is testament to community spirit. They saved my bacon by actually having a copy of the book .You almost feel like you are stepping back in time when you go in .The staff(mainly retired folk when I went) were lovely, happy to chat and have a laugh. You won’t get the choice you can expect from nearby Amersham as there are few books here but nevertheless it is a community resource which should not be allowed to disappear. I should imagine it is also a great social meeting point for the village.
