From the outside, James and Bowden looks like your regular hardware store, there are some mats and household items outside, inside there are sea-side kids knick-knacks, walk further back into the store and it just seems to keep on going on and on backwards. Its a treasure trove of exciting things. We picked up a meat mincer and a saw! It had a huge range of gardening gloves and gardening tools, pets toys, gorgeous dishes. I fell in love with the Port Merrion range of delphware they have, and they have lots of other cute aprons, oven gloves, a beauty section, cake tins etc, hiking shoes, clothing, sensible and funny hats. James Bowden and Sons is a treasure trove of everything you could need and everything you didn’t know you need but want anyhow(pasta tester anyone!). Definitely worth a visit, even if you are just browsing.
