As the previous reviewer said they are extremely friendly! We came for lunch and while the selection is sparse and simple it’s well done. I had a tasty egg sandwich while my counterparts had the Cornish pasty which they enjoyed. My daughter ate her whole sandwich too which was a miracle in itself. The tea and coffee were lovely but the real star was dessert. Delicious pear and almond ice cream for my husband while I had an out of this world cake. I seriously contemplated buying the entire cake. They even opened a package of biscuits that my mother in law wanted to try and fixed it up for her. They have a small variety of grocery items as well. Truly worth a stop!

Really friendly tea shop with excellent coffee. Good sandwiches and scones. Garden seating is idyllic. Good for dog walkers.
