The Basement

This is one of the branches of The Basement of which there are now three (I think) around the Belfast area. This branch is Carrick is located on one of the main streets and the shop stocks a great range of DVDs, CDs and games. I must admit, I was very impressed, although I thought it would be rubbish, I was pleasantly surprised by both the amount and variation that the shop sold. Now sadly the staff don’t really seem to care about whoever’s in the shop, certainly when I was in I wasn’t even looked at, never mind spoken to, but hey I guess you can’t win every time! So, all in all The Basement sell good second hand stock for very good prices. A bit like Extradeal or a second hand Xtra-​Vision, a good place for bargain buys. It’s handy too if you’re looking to make some extra cash as you can bring in your old films you no longer want and make a bit of money in the process, win!
