Robinson’s is a proper old fashioned shoemaker, something that you don’t see often nowadays. They have been in business in the town for over half a century and are always my first port of call anytime I get a new pair of shoes or boots to improve the quality of them.
I find nowadays footwear, particularly high heeled boots, are extremely slippy, (embarassing at least, downright dangerous at worst!) so anytime I get a new pair, I take them straight down to Robinson’s to get them soled. Whenever heels get worn down, I get them re-​heeled in Robinson’s and find that the repair to the heels they make last MUCH longer than the heels that were originally on the footwear!
In addition, Robinson’s also sell top-​end quality Ladies shoes, Gentlemen’s shoes, and safety footwear.
