I’ve always been pre programmed not to use this company, because back in the day they were the only company that charged by the meter, making them a lot dearer than the other companies.
I do, however, use them from time to time, when I can’t get a taxi elsewhere and I’m really stuck for a lift. I find the drivers friendly, and they compare competitively price wise with other companies, but my main problem is with the desk staff.
I have personally found them to be quite rude and say your taxi is on its way when it isn’t. If a taxi is going to take 20 minutes then that’s fine, but I would rather know that than being told it’s on its way.
One night when I was waiting for a taxi with them, I questioned them on this, only to be told by the delightful lady on the phone that if I had a problem I could go elsewhere, so I took her advice, and that’s what I did!
