Castle Fish and Chips

I love chips. Especially when they come from a chippy on the seafront as it makes them all the more delicious… must be the sea air? Castle fish and chip shop is right opposite Carrickfergus Castle so it really does have views to die for as well as great food… what more could you want? The menu has all the old favourites to sit in or take out. The staff are great as the restaurant although usually full of tourists and locals alike is always clean and organised. As I visit the Castle several times a year, I love popping in here for a bag of chips, loads of salt and vinegar and taking it out to enjoy on the marina or the sea front! A visit to Carrick castle wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Castle Chippie! Yummy!
