Good value, reasonably consistent and of authentic good quality, (some sauces a bit heavy for my personal liking) offering the usual northern range of meals; Tandoori, Balti etc. Delivery service reliable and polite and (perhaps because we live close) speedy.
We haven’t compared with all the competition locally (quite a few tandoori/​balti joints) but this is a takeaway; nearby Bay Tree and Cinnamon are obviously better, as sit down restaurants.
We’ve used Standard for almost 15 years and never had cause to complain about the food and only very rarely any discrepancy in the order. Long may they continue!
