Pine Dungeon

As marketing ploys go, it’s not as dumb as it seems to slap something as uninteresting as a wooden furniture outlet with a name that sounds more like the title of a dubious personal services small ad. If Pine Dungeon had a pound for every giggling/​curious type who have checked out this Whitchurch Road store for purely intrigued reasons, they probably wouldn’t need to actually flog any furniture. Unsurprisingly, it’s no more a dank torture pit than your average DFS. The former half of that moniker comfortably wins out, selling wall-​to-​wall pine from hulking dressers with price tags to match right down to cute bedside cabinets and various wooden fixtures and fittings. The staff are nice enough and you can park right outside for ease of loading up your pine purchases. Although you won’t find too many bargains of a lifetime: the middling prices are about as close as Pine Dungeon comes to housing anything horrifying.
