Liquid

The first time i went to liquid i honestly thought i’d died and gone to drunk hell.
Everywhere was white, drinks were overpriced and there seemed to be a million and one spaced out people overcrowding the whole damn place.
I seem to remember there being two floors, one dance, and crap dance at that and one so called R and B. And there stairs separating these floors was something that was probably in this months health and safety magazine.
There were one too many wannabe footballers in there and way to many drunk, screaming girls in neon boob tubes and short skirts.
Sardines in a can is also another old cliché i’d use to describe liquid. Oh yes, and it’s around about a million pound entrance fee and when they searched me before i went in; oh yes, they had the cheek to do that. They even had the gaol to go through my eye shadow. I’ve never felt so important.
All in all, if you looking for a pretentious knockabout ugly kind of place; do go to Liquid!

A very ‘young’ venue, popular with teenagers and students. Can often be a bit rough in there — but popular with teh dance music crowd.
