In heavy rains it roars, thick logs, footballs, coke bottles, foam crash over, down and under. I think when it rages it is at its best — I can watch it for hours, it’s as good as a campfire and better than Eastenders.
The bridge over the weir will put a spring in your step, bouncy, bounce, bounce. The salmon and trout in autumn leap with all the energy and determination of a sea beast trying to spawn. This site is truly special.
