Here’s the truth… this is not the best of the best. It’s not the worst either. It’s just ok. If you live in this village or one of the surrounding villages this it’s ideal for a take away or even to dine in. The prices aren’t crazy and the food is good with quite a selection. We usually use this place when we are staying in littlebourne just because it’s convenient. There’s nothing wrong with his place but don’t expect it to amaze you!

Salma is a stylish, Indian restaurant in beautiful village of Wingham,. It is on the main A257, the road between Canterbury and Wingham and it is a great place to eat in the evening.
It is very bright and airy inside and you are taken care of as soon as you go in. It is spotless with white linen tablecloths and the staff are very friendly and attentive, particularly with the children.
The menu is large and varied, with lots of specialities; the King Prawn biriani is a favourite of mine, and the onion bhajias are excellent.
It can get very busy, particularly on a Friday and Saturday evening, so it is worth booking.
Car parking is on street outside, or if no spaces, in the village car park, two minutes walk away.
This restaurant also offers superb take aways.
