Pets At Home

I’ve been to better. It’s smaller than other Pets at Home stores and doesn’t have as much of a variety in products.
Being in Wincheap, it’s a bit awkward to get to unless you have a car and the speed bumps into it are basically just huge blocks of concrete. If I get a flag on my MOT about my suspension, you can bet your bottom dollar I’m sending the bill right to them!
The older guy that’s always working is super nice and helpful — but he’s the only one. A couple years ago I tried to get some fish with my housemates and it took five separate trips with them giving us different instructions each time before we gave up on the whole idea. Just plain unhelpful, really.

Great store with lots of parking. Well laid out with everything you need for your pet. Have a giant house rabbit in store at the moment for £120 if anyone interested — he’s so cute but massive! Staff are helpful and friendly and obviously concerned about pet welfare.

Is it just me that thinks this is a silly name for shop? After all, you don’t have Pets At Work, or Pets On Holiday.
Good shop though.

i think pets at home is a really good shop and the fish are really cool and the hampsters are really cute!

I love that i can take my dog in here and walk around the shop! well if i had a dog i could! well anyway i used to walk around with my old boxer who used to love the smell of all the treats and go absolutely mad! Always well behaved though because he’d always think he was getting something. Well he always was so at least he was good for a reason!
There are some great buys in here, i have a cat which is getting on now i think! but he loves trats when they come home from here.
They also have started stocking Giant bunny Rabbits now as well which are lovely and i always want a cuddle!
Always get good service and the workers are always playing with the animals so they seem happy and well looked after.
