Great local pub with decent menu, including deal for Sunday roast. Interior more of a selling feature than the quality of food, but worth checking out.

I had heard good things about the food(from my wife) so we decided to enjoy the sun for a cheeky lunch in the garden. The potato skins with cheese and bacon were real good but my fish and chips didn’t quite live up to expectations. It weren’t bad though. They do a good lunch time deal, two courses for £8−95 on selected dishes.

I can’t claim to have eaten here, but the food looks nice, if a little pricey. The atmosphere is nice, although more like a large town pub and the staff are friendly. They do a good quiz on alternate Thursdays.

I used to love this pub, when it was all old and shabby on the inside, the food was better and the surroundings were comfortable. Now its very chic and modern and looks like it belongs in London rather than in the smallest town in britain. still nice though and an enjoyable experience.
