Had a take away burrito from here — was really nice. Had chicken and was 5 so was reasonable. I went for the medium which was more than enough. This place has the option to eat inside and make nice margaritas.

After a lengthy walk around Regents Park, a friend recommended breaking here for dinner. It was relatively late, but the food was still reasonably fresh. We chose a variety of burrito and taco options and while the portions seemed on the small side, the flavour was good. Unfortunately the chicken was really dry, but everything else was quite enjoyable. I know this area gets really busy and there tend to be line-ups, but a good eatery will still manage to keep a decent hygiene and cleanliness standard. Unfortunately this place did not. The food counter and prep area looked spotless and the staff looked well cleaned, but the actual restaurant area, including seats and tables was a mess! They also have a selection of hot sauces and Mexican chocolate products for reasonable prices, which seems like a great idea for this kind of quick eatery. Their own merchandise seems a little on the pricey side though. All in all it was a good experience, but I’m deducting points for the small portions, the dry chicken and the fact that all tables were piled high with other people’s wrappers and leftovers and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in quite a while.

Not great but not terrible for London Mexican take-out. The best thing about Tortilla is that they give you a crazy amount of guacamole(real guacamole, not fake mayonnaise guacamole) if you ask for it on tacos. Like a full huge scoop on each taco.

you wait for a burrito shop to open, and then two open at the same time! Ill admit, I havent tried the other… which I wont name in this review but can be found a few minutes down the road. Ive been in a couple of times for a quick take away meal on the way home, and I have always been happy with the food from here. its conveyer belt service and there is a decent mixture of selections at each point inc. meat, veggies, beans, rice and sauce. There is a bar that serves beer or soft drinks and if you time it right you can be in, ordered and out the door in minimal time. They offer two sizes, that are both reasonably priced… but to be honest the small isnt signifcantly smaller than the big. I havent eaten in the venue, but there seems adequate seating, its clean and there is a little consessions store that sell some psedo-mexican paraphernalia. Very handy location next to Camden town tube… would certainly be going there again when I get the hankering for burritos!

I had the Medium grilled chicken Naked Burrito. Portions were stingy for £5. I watched as she used a shallow spoon to spread the food into different corners of the box. Everything looked tired under the heat lamp. My rice was dry and rubbery, the beans were not mashed and seemed to be cooked quickly without the simmering for the thick, mushy texture. Salsa(diced tomatoes ad onions) was mealy, warm and wet, which is unforgivable. Grilled chicken was wet(I actually saw staff add water into it) yet rubbery and dry inside. Seasoning was good but that suggests it isn’t very fresh. Maybe that’s why all the other options are slow cooked? Guacamole was really stringy with the ‘veins’ — if you eat enough avocadoes you’ll know what I am referring to. The restaurant was very well-decorated with lots of bottles of hot sauce for sale. I liked that they had the provenance of their hot sauces but when I asked for a container to try some the staff listlessly pointed to my box. Overall food was passable but I have had much fresher food and better service. i.e. their competitor down Camden High St!

This newly opened tortilla mexican food fast food restaurant has queues at peak times because people now it is good. It is a bit like going to a subway sandwich shop, but far more funky and they do tortillas. The food has a succulent taste, good quality ingredients and are made well. Even better than the more well known chain Chipotle, which is good but in comparison has less good textures and feels a bit more oily. However to me and the person I was with, they achieved having even better quality by putting very small amounts of meat in the tortillas, presumably as meat is the most expensive ingredient. The service is well meaning and keen, so all in all a good place to go.

Excellent, fresh, high quality Mexican food. Burritos very good — you choose all ingredients.
