First — don’t be fooled by the outward appearance — India Palms is in a horrible, decaying building just off the A724 and served by a rutted, potholed car park — if you have a brand new car don’t park it here would be my advice. Inside it’s a bit grotty and dated as well… artex ceiling, Ikea candle holders, peeling wallpaper etc.
But the food and the staff instantly make up for all this — this is a stonking good value for money all-​you-​can-​eat buffet restaurant, the food is good — the curries are full-​on, not watered down like you get in a lot of Indian buffets, and outdoes a lot of the overpriced and underwhelming places in the centre of town. They do an extensive takeaway menu as well — not that I’ve tried it. All the staff are fantastic too — if only the place looked a bit better!!!
