For all you can eat fresh sushi, they have a good deal! You will get your moneys worth, and eat until you can’t eat any more. Good and friendly service. The location is also very convenient next to the Grafton.

I don’t even know why this place is getting under 4 – 5 stars but from what I see the first review is probably not valid, there person doesn’t even have an account and it might be local competition trying to squash them and the other person’s review is not a Unilocaler they are from Qype whatever that is. I think Unilocal made a mistake in combining the two because there is a certain level of authenticity to Unilocalers especially when they reach Elite status in which I hope to apply to soon and have been Elite status in the past. So here is my authentic review about U Sushi… I am a repeat customer, I live 13 miles away and I crave U Sushi(I am from America) and my standards are very high, and what I love about U Sushi is their all you can eat sushi menu. I go and stuff myself silly. I ordered to my heart’s content salmon egg sushi and masago sushi. The ingredients are so fresh. Mind you, I am eating raw fish eggs. Both the salmon eggs and masogo eggs were top. The salmon sashimi was to die for. I stole many pieces from my husband. I really enjoyed their spicy tuna hand roll. Their salmon roll and their seaweed salad. I didn’t have one but two seaweed salads and they were nothing short of delicious. Service was very prompt and accommodating. I give them a 5 star rating on both their customer service, promptness of sushi and sashimi(made to order by one sushi chef, who is amazing) and the very kind and attentive waitresses. They have a nice selection of Japanese drinks in the cooler. I enjoyed a grape flavored aloe vera juice with nice chunky pieces of aloe vera. I really look forward to my next all you can eat fat American moment at U Sushi. This is the only sushi restaurant that I know of that I can eat until I am full and not walk out feeling hurt because I am still hungry and spent twice as much. The food has never given me a problem unlike the other review said, I eat here at least once a month and eat a lot every time I go, never had an issue. Here is a tip for U Sushi: it is best to call ahead and make a reservation, I called on Bank Holiday Monday and they confessed to having a 17 person reservation and that I needed to get there one hour before the 17 person reservation arrived. It is a smaller establishment and seating is limited, it may hold up to 20 – 25 customers tops. There is one man behind the bar so please be patient and kind as he works as quickly as he can to fill your belly.

Unbelievable .bad bad bad. Just want to scam us. They are not interested in their food just money. Some of us had all you can eat, others had a la carte menu we’ll it’s like this. If you eat your sushi off of the main menu the sushi consists of less than normal amounts of rice portions. iSo small rolls. I. e Nigiri has little rice. That’s okay but leaves you a bit hungry so you order more and more. Yes you’ve sussed it «The all you can eat menu» consists of many of the same sushi dishes, except these are the reverse. loads and loads of rice which was stodgier than the rice on the main menu with tiny amounts of the main part. So guess what your full very quickly. It’s a bloody rip off. Staff are also really rude. This was pointed out as a comparison and we were basically told to pay the bill and leave. Unbelievable. Avoid it. Oh and the sushi isn’t great either.

Located on Burleigh street, close to the Grafton centre, is a small sushi bar known as U Sushi. Now, I like Sushi but I don’t love Sushi, but I have to say that U Sushi has left me with a taste for more! The sushi here is undoubtedly moreish and there is a nice selection to choose from. The staff at U Sushi are pleasant and appear keen to please you. Although I am not the biggest lover of Sushi I would definitely make a swift return to U Sushi, especially as my taste buds seem to be craving it more and more. One thing is for sure, U Sushi is healthier and more appetising than McDonald’s!
